Harvard students walk out of Ec 10

The reason given for the walkout referred to the ideological bias of the man teaching the course, Gregory Mankiw, a one-time member of the Bush administration, an economic adviser for Mitt Romney and a Fellow at the conservative American Enterprise Institute. The protesting students believed Mankiw’s conservatism determined and thus undermined his presentation of the course material. The overwhelming majority of the over 700 students enrolled in the class did not walkout.
