I use this blog to express and store some of my thoughts about politics in the United States and, to a lesser degree, elsewhere. I’ve written for a blog having this title for four years. The last iteration can be found here. My writings express what I call a left-populist perspective. With this term I wish to refer to my commitment to a radical form of a modern democracy, one which includes the gains specific to but which also surpasses the defects of contemporary liberalism.
